Privacy Policy

Last updated: 26 July 2026

This policy explains what personal data this website collects, why, and what happens to it. It covers this website only. Setl Limited is responsible for correspondence sent to the addresses published on this site; where a matter concerns a specific operating company, that company will be identified to you in our reply.

What we collect

The only personal data this website collects is what you choose to give us: the name, company, email address, enquiry category and message you enter in the enquiry form, or the contents of an email you send to one of our published addresses.

The enquiry form does not ask for, and you should not send through it, identity documents, financial account details, transaction data, expected volumes, source-of-funds information or any other client onboarding material. This website is not an onboarding channel.

Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, which can include IP addresses and request metadata, for security and operational purposes. We do not use those logs to build a profile of you.

Why we use it

We use the information you send us to respond to your enquiry, to route it to the right function within the group, and to keep a record of the correspondence. Where an enquiry relates to compliance or regulatory matters, we may need to retain it to demonstrate how we handled it.

We do not use your details for marketing, we do not sell them, and we do not share them with third parties for their own purposes.

Who may see it

Your enquiry is accessible to the Setl personnel who need it in order to respond, and to the group companies concerned with the subject matter. It may also be accessible to service providers who operate our email and hosting infrastructure, who act on our instructions.

Setl operates in Hong Kong and the United States, which means your correspondence may be accessible to personnel in either location. We may also disclose information where we are required to do so by law or by a regulator or law enforcement agency with jurisdiction over us.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with the matter and to meet our record-keeping obligations, and we delete it when neither applies. Records connected with regulatory, compliance or legal matters are kept for the retention period applicable to those records.

Your rights

Under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of Hong Kong you may request access to the personal data we hold about you and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate. Depending on where you are located, other data protection laws may give you further rights.

To make a request, or to ask a question about this policy, write to privacy@setlmoney.com. We may need to verify your identity before we act on a request.

Security

We apply administrative and technical measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and email in particular is not a secure channel — please do not send sensitive material to us by email.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy if our practices change, and the revision date at the top of this page will change with it. Material changes will be described on this page rather than made silently.
